The Kansas City Jazz Meetup group has been a fun way for us to get out to local venues and meet others in KC who love jazz!
On August 27th, join us for an evening of live jazz at one of KC’s best breweries, KC Bier Co. What better way to celebrate jazz in KC than with a party and delicious German Bier?!
Enjoy live music by Bram Wijnands with special guests. This is a performance that will surely have you up and out of your seat!
Join KC Jazz Ambassadors while they break the record for highest number of saxophones in one space, playing at one time! 2,000+ horns are expected to attend and perform a tune by KC legend, Charlie Parker.
In honor of Charlie Parker's 100th birthday, join the Jazz Ambassadors and sax players from around Kansas City and the four state region as we break the Guinness World Record for Largest Saxophone Ensemble.
A city in China holds the record now-- 1,875. We plan to beat it with 2,000 Saxes on Sunday, August 23 2pm at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City's Swope Park.
